What is ARC’s purpose in pursuing the construction of a state-of-the-art restoration center?

In reality, to construct the facility we want and need to fulfill the vision of most ARC charter members. Establishing a community resource, second to none in the country. Some members doubt we will accomplish this ambitious goal however, a large contingent of members disagree. “Continue with full page”

  1. Hello, We are planning on moving to Sun City or Sun City West in the near future (as soon as our house sell’s) we have already sold our rental house, now just waiting for the one we live in to sell. We have a 1930 Model-A Ford that Sam bought for $50.00 when he was 15 yrs old. He drove it all thru High School and after for a while, and it has been “waiting” to be restored ever since! Is the “Old Car Club” going to be in SC or SCW?? And if we bought in SC and it was in SCW could he still be a member?? Thanks for any information you can give us. Mary Tozer 4-29-14 Kingman, Az.

    • Mary & Sam;

We would like you to consider that the Chartered Club of Sun City West can only have members who reside in Sun City West and have current rec center cards. If you buy in Sun City, you would not be able to join the Automotive/Restoration Club of SCW.

  2. I’m a new resident of SCW and have visited the metals club and was impressed but with all the clubs there is not one just for people interested in working on their own vehicle or others.
Some of us cannot afford a classic, but still like to work on cars as I have an old Toyota pickup 4×4 that I would like to work on but need a spot. Is that available anywhere in SCW?
    Thank You
    Blaine Johnson

    • I believe that you need to join both the ARC and the Metal Shop clubs that worked for me!

  3. Hi,
I am a resident of Sun City Grand.
Will I be able to become a member?
    Thank you

    • Sorry however, the clubs of Sun City West are SCW home owners only.

  4. The ARC car club put on a EXCELLENT car show and swap meet. Looking forward to next year. JD & Kat

  5. I have a 1992 Honda EX 5 Door Wagon that I’ve owned since 1993. I purchased it from Bell Honda in 93 with 12,000 miles on it. It now has 185,000+
I’ve maintained all service records since I’ve owned it. As you might imagine, this car has become a part of me over the years. We used it as our tow vehicle behind our motor home for several years when we were traveling. I since purchased a golf cart and have limited garage space and hate to leave it outside. My wife is also having more trouble getting in and out of it. I think the day may have come when I have to part with it.
Is there anyone in the club that might have some idea of what it’s worth if I decide to put it up for sale?
PS: I live here in Sun City West.

  6. I live in SCW and would love to join your organization. Could you put me in touch with the necessary people? I have built, shown & maintained MANY cars & trucks over the years, and love welding, metal fab & just being involved in maintaining and refurbishing anything that runs on fossil fuel!
Looking forward to hearing from you!

  7. Bless all of you for fixing that young man’s truck.

  8. I live in Buckeye and Phoenix, how can I join the club or is it limited to Sun City West residents? I am currently out of the country in the Middle Esst working rotaional. I am in the USA 50% of the time.

I am like the members, a car person with a few cars.

    Thank you,

  11. do you have to own an antique car in order to join? Would it be possible to just help out sometime with the work that someone else is doing on their car? I’m not familiar with cars, but I would like to learn, and I think this could be a “cool” way to do it.
